Silveth Khawaja is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and philanthropist. She is an American Pakistan Foundation DC Ambassador, the Founder and President of Young American Pakistani Professionals (YAPP), a group which promotes leadership and community service amongst the youth, and a DC Representative for the Johns Hopkins Graduate Muslim Students Association. Silveth Khawaja is also the Principal and founder of Safina, Inc. She has senior-level domestic and international project experience in finance, capital markets, corporate operations, and startup organizations. She is currently a member of the Advisory Board for A Level Capital, a venture capital firm which focuses on early stage technology companies run by Johns Hopkins students and alumni. She also has volunteered her time for community organizations such as Fannie Mae help the Homeless, Open DC, and NetSap DC. She is a graduate of George Washington University, and an MBA candidate at Johns Hopkins University.
