APF Connect is a mentorship and networking platform featuring profiles of mentors and mentees that will be searchable by industry, employer, location, and more.
Mentors and mentees connect for short and long-term mentorship opportunities.
Who can get involved?
Mentors: Professionals based in the United States with at least five years of experience who would like to serve as a mentor.
Mentee/Internship Applicants: Students, recent graduates, and young professionals based in the United States who are at least 18 years old and want to apply for local mentorship and/or internship opportunities.
Professionals with 5-12 years of experience can sign up for both opportunities.

In addition to matching young professionals with experienced mentors, APF hosts conference calls, networking events, and webinars on networking, skills training, and other professional development opportunities. Veteran journalist and APF Board Member Kiran Khalid spoke about leadership at an APF event focused on how to develop a community of emerging leaders across the United States. Ms. Khalid has over 15 years of newsroom experience with CNN, CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC.
Technologist and entrepreneur Babur Habib spoke at a networking event organized by APF and Pakathon, an organization that mentors and invests in Pakistani expats who launch for-profit social ventures in Pakistan.
APF member Noor Shaikh moderated a conversation on “The Entrepreneurial Journey” with entrepreneurs Hamza Ali, Riaz Siddiqi, and Dr. Nasar Qureshi at the APF Emerging Leaders retreat in Houston.
