Speakers

Syeda Henna Babar Ali is a pioneer in business, education, and U.S.-Pakistan cultural exchange. She is currently Chairperson of DIC Pakistan Limited, a joint venture between Packages Limited and Japan’s DIC Corporation. She sits on the Board of Governors and chairs the Management Committee at the Ali Institute of Education. Ms. Ali has spent decades promoting increased access to higher learning for women in Pakistan. 

Ambassador Robin L. Raphel is an expert in political, security, and economic development issues in South Asia and the Middle East. As a career Foreign Service officer, she worked for nearly 40 years in foreign affairs agencies, including the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development, and U.S. Department of Defense. 

Fatima Salman is the Associate Director of the Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center, where she contributes to the Center’s policy research initiatives and manages programmatic tasks. Previously, Fatima was an Analyst at The Asia Group, where she supported the firm’s South Asia practice.
