Anoussa Salim
Anoussa Salim is a global affairs professional with expertise in international diplomacy, sustainability, and advocacy. She currently serves as a Director and UN Representative for a UN Global Compact member organization, where she leads strategic initiatives that bridge corporate sustainability practices with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this role, she fosters impactful partnerships between the private sector, UN agencies, and Member States, ensuring alignment with global standards for sustainable development and humanitarian responsibility.
Her academic foundation includes a Master’s in Global Affairs from New York University, where her thesis focused on the critical humanitarian crisis stemming from inadequate resource distribution in Afghanistan. Anoussa also holds a BA in Political Science and History from Fordham University, further grounding her in the complexities of global governance and the historical contexts that shape today’s international relations.
