Please join the American Pakistan Foundation for a conversation with family therapist Farah Hassan on how to manage family relationships, navigate conflict, and stay emotionally healthy during quarantine. Joining Ms. Hassan in conversation will be Dr. Uzma Iqbal, Oncologist and APF Board Member; Mahmood Panjwani, Chairman of Infinism and APF Board Member; and Shamila N. Chaudhary, APF President.
About the Speakers
Farah Hassan is a Texas-based family psychotherapist. She graduated in clinical psychology from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. Prior to her schooling in the United States, she attended Kinnaird College for Women and Fatimah Jinnah Medical University in Pakistan.
Dr. Uzma Iqbal (moderator) has been practicing Hematology/Oncology and Integrative Medicine for over 20 years. She is the President of Houston Center of HOPE sine 2007. She graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Pakistan. She serves on various leadership councils in Harris County, has directed the Medical Oncology program, and has been President of Medical Staff. Dr. Iqbal is passionate about youth leadership, mentorship, and women's empowerment. She serves on the APF Board of Directors.
Mahmood Panjwani is a Silicon Valley-based entrepreneur who is currently the Chairman of Infinism, Inc. and Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Artiman Ventures. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Illinois. Mr. Panjwani has served on the American Pakistan Foundation Board of Directors since 2009.
Shamila N. Chaudhary is President of the American Pakistan Foundation and an international affairs analyst specializing in U.S. foreign policy in South Asia. She is a Senior South Asia Fellow at the Washington D.C.-based New America think tank and a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Institute at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
