Rai Masoud

Rai Hasen Masoud Kharal is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, originally from Nankana Sahib, Punjab, studying International Economics and Development with a focus on Asia. Rai has prior experience working with the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the United Nations, World Economic Forum, Center for Security & Emerging Technology (CSET) and currently collaborates with the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, D.C.

Presently, he is a research intern at the Hudson Institute in the Central and South Asia department, focusing on foreign policy dynamics between the US, the Indo-Pacific, and South Asia. Rai's unfettered ambition is to enter politics in Pakistan through public service, and make a run for the executive office, to materialize his vision for development and economic security for all.
