Shafaq Jameel

Shafaq is a sustainability leader with more than 10 years of experience and has a proven track record of creating and implementing sustainability strategies that align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

She currently leads sustainability for Marsh McLennan, the worlds leading professional services firm in risk, strategy and people. In her role, she partners closely with stakeholders across the company to identify and implement key strategic initiatives that will drive progress towards corporate sustainability goals. Prior to joining Marsh McLennan, Ms. Jameel has led sustainability programs across a variety of sectors including hospitality, real estate and consumer packaged goods. She takes a data driven and empathic approach in all she does and believes that businesses that focus sustainability outperform those that don’t.

Ms. Jameel graduated with honors from Suffolk University with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and with highest honors from the Sacred Heart University an M.S. in Environmental Science and Management She is a U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Accredited Professional, serves on her city’s Advisory Commission for Environmental Sustainability and is active within the local Pakistani community.
