Join us to learn from Professor Waqar Azeem of Binghamton University, who specializes in Postcolonial Literature, Ethnic Studies, Human Rights, and Critical Theory, on US-Pakistan relations, told through the literary history and genre of the Pakistani American diaspora. Imaan Mirza, an APF Leadership Council Member and senior at Harvard College studying History & Literature, will serve as host.

Our guest speaker is:

Dr. Muhammad Waqar Azeem teaches English Literature at Binghamton University. He researches and writes about Postcolonial Literature, Ethnic Studies, Human Rights, and Critical Theory. He is an alumnus of Fulbright Exchange Program and promotes interracial understanding and peace.
