Shanaz Ramzi is currently Chief Executive Officer of StarLinks PR and Events and President TravelinPk, and has been working as a freelance journalist since 1994. A prolific writer, she has written on a variety of subjects for various publications, both local and international, and is the author of Food Prints: An Epicurean Voyage through Pakistan (OUP, 2012), Food Tales (2021), and Oxford Companion to Pakistani Cuisine (2023). A regular contributor to the magazine sections of the English daily Dawn and the erstwhile monthly magazine Newsline, Ramzi has been twice nominated for the Gender in Journalism Award by UNESCO. Her essays have been published in the book titled Pakistan's Radioactive Decade: An Informal Cultural History of the 1970s (OUP, 2019). She has also edited various publications including Humsay, Masala TV Food Mag, Pakistan's widely circulated food magazine, Mise en Place, Glam, and the World Gourmand Peace Award-winning book Zaiqay Frontier Ke: Dera Ismail Khan Ke Bhule Bisre Pakwan.
