We will also discuss what role the Pakistani diaspora in the United States can play in supporting the start-up ecosystem there.

Fariel Salahuddin is Co-Founder & CEO of UpTrade. She has over 10 years of international experience in energy finance, project development and energy policy and is an energy specialist working on off-grid program design, energy policy and renewable tariff. She has worked in Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan and MENA region with the policy reform and project development.
Kalsoom Lakhani is the Founder/CEO of Invest2Innovate, which aims to support and unleash the potential of young entrepreneurs in growth markets like Pakistan. She’s also a Partner at i2i Ventures, Invest2Innovate’s early stage investment fund for Pakistan, and the country’s first female-led fund. She has trained young entrepreneurs, changemakers, and civil society leaders in Kosovo, Nepal, Cambodia, Ireland, Bangladesh, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
Dr. Sara Saeed Khurram is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sehat Kahani, a Pakistan-based startup that works on improving basic health care in communities through a spectrum of services focused on primary health care consultation, health awareness and health counseling.
